Are you in control of your Brand?

I cannot understate the importance of managing your Brand.  All the hard work you put into promoting your business is diluted if you don't ensure your message and look is consistent.

If you're an small business then it's actually easier in a way because you have control over all the customer touch points.  Why does that matter?  Every time a customer engages with your business their experience needs to once again reinforce your brand.  If you are promoting yourself as a "high end product" and when a customer contacts you they receive "low end service" - the result is an incongruency that has the potential to make the customer query the purchase decision.

A company’s brand is on the line during each every customer interaction, which can range from seeing an ad to getting an invoice in the mail to calling customer service.

Spend a couple of hours this week checking all your touchpoints and making sure they meet your brand values and image.
